9/7/2010 - Sales have slowed slightly, allowing inventory to build to approximately 475
homes available for sale in the City of Orange. This number has held steady for the
past several weeks, and the number of homes in escrow has remained about the same
as well, at an average of approximately 225 at any given point in time.
Interest rates continue to stay at historic lows, with 30-year fixed rates for conforming
loans hovering between 4.125% and 4.5%, further driving demand in Orange County.
